"La estética blanca de la serie HALE 90 es sin duda única, más aun si la metemos dentro de la enorme oferta de fuentes de alimentación negras y grises del mercado, destaca entre la multitud. Pero la estética, para ser sinceros, es un aspecto plenamente secundario; una fuente de alimentación debe ofrecer un buen rendimiento. La HALE sin duda lo tiene todo; el hecho de contar con la certificación 80PLUS ORO es una bendición. NZXT proporciona junto a esta fuente suficientes cables (planos=gestión de calidad) para armar un buen equipo SLI o CrossFire y ofreciendo siempre voltajes de salida limpios y estables. Además, el ventilador de 140 mm hace un buen trabajo de manteniendo fría la unidad incluso con gran carga.

Las fajas planas de las extensiones modulares permiten un buen flujo en el interior del chasis, a la vez que dar flexibilidad y hacernos el montaje más cómodo. Los cables nativos en la NZXT HALE 90 tienen aproximadamente 550 mm de largo; los cables modulares incluidos también rondan los 550 mm de longitud total. Las extensiones SATA y Molex de 4 pines miden 150 mm de distancia."

"Ciertamente NZXT entra fuerte en el mercado de las fuentes de alimentación; la serie HALE90 nos ofrece unas características de base impresionantes, como la certificación 80PLUS Gold y los cinco años de garantía. Cada modelo está pensado para cada tipo de equipo, desde lo más austeros en consumo y conectividad, hasta los mayores demandantes de energía. Los cables modulares planos ofrecen la posibilidad de agruparlos más fácilmente, así como pasarlos por huecos más estrechos. El sistema de ventilación es impresionante, en parte gracias a la alta eficiencia, ya que su sonoridad es extremadamente baja, ofreciendo en conjunto unas temperaturas de funcionamiento simplemente excelentes. No debemos olvidar la solidez de su línea principal de +12V, la cual está entre las mejores que hemos visto este año. El único pero lo damos a que sólo existe (en los modelos de 550, 650 y 750 W) un cable de tipo EPS/ATX de 4+4 pines; esto puedo ocasionar cierta inestabilidad cuando realizamos al equipo un overclocking de alto nivel.

It offers a great combination of features, aesthetics, quality, versatility, and performance.  If you're a person that appreciates quality design, nice esthetics and construction, then this 650W power supply is a very good option.”

“Overall NZXT has proven that they are a force to be reckoned with. Not only have they taken the gaming chassis world by storm but they have made their stand as one of the best power supply manufacturers I have ever had the privilege of reviewing products for.  Thermaltake and Cooler Master should be taking notice because I truly believe NZXT is here for the long haul and has the quality to maintain their stance for years to com.

Would I recommend this product? I think the answer is already prevalent, for those of you that aren't that observant the answer is yes.   This PSU may see pricy but you are getting the same quality from this PSU as you have with Thermaltake and Cooler Master. If you are looking for something to power your mid level gamer with the quality components that will keep it running at its peak long past its warranty then I strongly suggest getting yourself an NZXT HALE90-650W-M Power Supply.”
