Overall, I think the NZXT Tempest 410 Elite is a solid entry gaming case. There are all the necessary features there to please any gamer, such as tool free design and large GPU/Heatsink support. There are even a few extra perks, like self contained cooling support, and a top compartment to hold little things. . The Elite is a slight upgrade from the regular Tempest 410, adding the large window to the side. If you're in the market for a good, windowed, entry gaming case, the Tempest 410 Elite is an excellent choice.
Building with this case was simple. The standard cable management system we see in most cases today is present, which allows for a clean looking build. Good thing there’s a window so you can see it! If you’re taking a serious look at this under-a-hundred bucks case, be sure to pick up the three fans NZXT left out, unless you plan on going the water cooled route.
NZXT only recently appeared during 2004 and you wouldn't have thought so; the Tempest 410 Elite is a stylish well designed case that put some case manufacturers that have been in the field much longer to shame. With a price point set at £54.99 the Tempest 410 Elite is excellent value offering many features that would normally only be available to cases at a much higher price point. Overall I am really impressed with the Tempest 410 Elite and I would like to thank NZXT for providing us with such a fantastic case.
At a price of $90, the Tempest 410 Elite is a solid case and a great value. The versatility here is also a solid consideration. While it can't really match some of the elite on the market, it's nowhere near the price either, particularly for a mid-tower. If you want a full-featured and versatile case that's avaialble at a great price, seriously consider the NZXT Tempest 410 Elite.
The NZXT Tempest 410 Elite has pleasantly surprised us, but especially good technology, good materials, fastening systems of fans, grilles and slots for HD are really efficient. Space management is good, nothing was left to chance, everything is designed correctly and implemented accordingly. The fans supplied (very quiet) already allow a good flow of air but may be increased at will, the installation of the HD and easily. The whole is topped by a sober and elegant but not anonymous, aggressive lines give the Tempest choices despite the absence of colored LEDs or stickers that maybe we could find in other series.
The NZXT Tempest 410 Elite delivers a solid, well rounded package at a competitive price. The Tempest 410 Elite is definitely a product worth buying, especially with a modest £69 price tag.
The bottom line: the Tempest 410 Elite from NZXT offers everyone one would want for $100 and then some. To me it is worth the hike over the others and should do well in this segment.
While it does have its short comings, it makes up for it with offerings like a storage compartment on the top and a few tool-less solutions here and there. It also has a nice all black look inside and out so its pretty consistent throughout. The easy to remove fan design makes it a breeze when you need to take them out to clean out the dust filters and its quite nice that the case is able to take on up to eight internal hard disk drives. So if your looking for a rather loaded budget case perhaps the NZXT Tempest 410 Elite tickles your fancy.
Designed, it seems, exclusively for the stereotypical PC gamer... If you happen to like the looks, the Tempest 410 Elite is exactly what it set out to be: a mean-looking enclosure with gobs of cooling potential.
Overall, one of NZXT‘s goals with this case, ‘looking for a new cooling edge for your gameplay’ can happen when you use it as intended with water cooling since you will have to purchase new fans for your radiator. If you want to go air cooling with this case, you will just need to buy the fans to achieve their goal. Pricing for the Tempest 410 is (MSRP)$79.99, while its windowed brother is $89.99. Its design is simple, but flexible. Its price is low, and value for your dollar high. This case would be high on my list in the sub-$80 dollar range.
We'd like to thank NZXT for providing the Tempest 410 Elite for our review today. We've reviewed several NZXT cases in the past and the quality and construction of their products have continiously improved. The Tempest 410 Elite is a great example of NZXT's commitment to giving gamers and enthusiasts great features at a competitive price point. Keeping a case's price below $100 is a difficult task, but NZXT found innovative ways to incorporate cool features and design elements without adding manufacturing costs. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by the functionality of the Tempest 410 Elite as well as the honeycomb mesh design used throughout the case.
