“Overall, the NZXT Hades offers a ton of value and features. The large fans are fairly quiet and fan controlled for a nearly silent build.  The temperature probes are an interesting extra you don’t see in many cases, especially at the sub-$100 USD price point.  Many will also appreciate the all black “stealth bomber” feel and tons of cable management room as well. To be honest, I couldn’t really find much to nitpick on this case. This case is currently retailing in the U.S. for around $80 USD, and you get a ton of features for a case of that price.  Temp sensors, fan control, and fairly easy cable management for a midtower definitely make this an excellent option for those who would rather spend their cash on what goes inside the case.  Overall, the fact that this is an excellent buy for the price is what makes us award it the Real World Labs Real Deal Editors Choice Award.”

“The NZXT Hades case impressed us with its quiet, simplistically functional performance and useful features. Building a system inside the Hades was a pleasant experience thanks to the well thought out design. Thermal performance and noise levels are a true high point of this case with some of the best temperatures and quietest fans weve experienced in a case of this price level. Enthusiasts who are looking to keep system build costs at a minimum whilst building a high performance system should give very serious consideration to the Hades..”

“So if you could buy a chassis that is easier to work in than the HAF 922, offers better air flow than most of the cases in the price range, and is well thought out for cable management and attractive to look at, why wouldn’t you? - I have seen the progression of quite a few of NZXT offerings and I have to say they hit the nail on the head with the Hades. Priced right in my opinion, you can find the Hades at Newegg for $79.99, with free shipping currently. All I can say to that is wow! This is one serious contender which falls below the price of most of the Hades main competitors.  Don’t let the following score fool you into thinking anything derogatory; the only reason for the lower score is due to its limited current availability.”

“All in all, the Hades is a great chassis at a reasonable price. If you like the look and don't mind a front door on your computer, the Hades really deserves to be on your short list of cases to consider for your next build or upgrade. It's a helluva case and a helluva deal.”

“Once upon a time, I believed that the best case on the market was the Antec 900. Many enthusiasts still believe that, but I am no longer one of them. For me, that case is the NZXT Hades. The Hades offers superior airflow, superior cable management and a better overall design for the same, exact price: $99.

You can’t find a better case for the price. It’s that simple.”

“The NZXT Hades chassis is primarily targeted to gamers looking for a case with pizzazz l and don’t want to compromise basic aesthetics, functionality, and quality. The large number of fans is a bonus, the cable management options are well done, the all black aesthetics look great, and the build quality is impressive for the price. Overall, NZXT has done a very good job with the Hades and built a solid case with a nice blend of aesthetics, functionality, and price.”

“Legit Bottom Line: The NZXT Hades is a great looking case with top-tier features and expandability for under $100, so this should be a case any user should strongly consider purchasing if looking for a mid tower.”

“The NZXT Hades is a great addition to NZXT's excelent line of computer cases. It was able to cool better than the competition. The NZXT not only cools great, but it also has some of the best cable management. There are cut out holes so you can easily route your cables behind the motherboard tray. These cutouts also have rubber inserts to help hide any clutter that may be on the other side of the cutouts. To supplement the cooling and cable management, the included fan controler is a nice feature. It is not everyday you see a case that includes a fan controler. This is certainly a blessing for someone with a loud fan on their CPU cooler. With the fan controler they can turn it down when they are not doing a CPU intensive task. This will save the buyer a fair amount of money if they planned on buying a fan controler for this very purpose. Another feature that you rarely see in cases is an included temperature monitor. You have the freedom to put the temperature sensor anywhere in your case.”

“NZXT is no newcomer when it comes to quality cases, and the Hades is no exception. The Hades shows that both form and function can be had in an affordable chassis. Such high points as the sleek looks, ample room, and useful cable management system are strong positives. The Appearance of this case lives up to the NZXT name. It looks very sleek, and if you are in to red, the subtle lighting is very appealing. I cannot see much of any reason why someone looking to get a midsize chassis with room for plenty of components that does not want to spend an arm and a leg should not give this case at least a close second look. Final Score: 8.9 out of 10.”

“The Hades case from NZXT is a very well thought out and unique design for a mid-tower case. The front door is an odd shape which contributes to the Hades overall design and with the front mounted temperature gauge the gamer has a convenient way to check in on what the temperatures are inside the case.”

“Overall, the Hades is still a very good chassis. The pros do outweigh the cons in my mind and as long as some careful planning is used, you will end up with a great-looking and high-performing PC. The front panel door is a love it or hate it feature, but I really did like it. It was very easy to use, it did not block the airflow one bit and it even angled the temperature readouts upward so that they could be easily read. While I can't state that it unseated the reigning king of the $99 class, it sure did a great job, and seeing it has many features that most others do not, it's still worthy of consideration for your next build.”

“On the upside, the case has great airflow, filtered intakes, is very quiet and provides fan control and temperature monitoring. Cable management is pretty good and you can certainly buy a much worse case if you try. Overall, it scores pretty well…”

“The NZXT Hades Crafted Series case is what I would call a Gold Series case. It has fantastic looks, great cooling abilities, and MASSIVE features. The ability to run all of my cables behind the motherboard tray is a HUGE plus and cleaned up the inside of this case amazingly well. Build was a little tedious, but if you take your time and breathe through your eyes, you will end up with a fantastic build.”

“As seen in PCWizKid's video review NZXT has taken given the Hades all the cooling options a hardcore gamer or PC enthusiast would need. Overclockers and those keen of getting the latest hardware such as a large video card can rest assured they will fit. The addition of the fan controller is a nice touch along with the digital readouts for the temperature on the front. For the price point of $99 the NZXT Hades is an attractive alternative PCWizKid recommends.”

For those of you out there that have the Hades on your shortlist, I say don't hesitate - you know you want it.”
