Not working out of the box

I bought a Cryo LX a few days ago from Amazon. It arrived today, and I plugged it in to my laptop and plugged in the AC-DC cable. The fans would not start. I tried using the USB-DC cable. Nothing.

The USB hub works, the fans do not.

The fan speed control on the side does not appear to have a stopping point. It will roll forever. I do not know if this is related to the fans or not, but it appears to, since the hub works and the fans, on the other side of the dial from the hub and the power, do not.

Also, what is the purpose of the hub having a second power socket besides the one the fans plug into?

I haven't looked at this since I don't own a laptop. Contact service@nzxt.com and see if they have any ideas man.
