Hi,
I just bought the mouse and unfortunately it didn't come with a drivers disk. I downloaded the latest drivers (20091127-Avatar) and when I click the first next button it comes with the message
"No Mouse Detected!
Please plug in NZXT Avatar Gaming Mouse and continue to setup!"
I've tried plugin it in a different usb port and tried updating the drivers but it just comes up with the message "HID-Compliant-Mouse Drive is up to date"
What do I do, I'm on windows 7 64bit and just swapped it for a Microsoft Sidewinder X5
I can't get the installer to install so I can configure it before i put crysis 2 back on.
Any ideas on what i'm doing wrong?

Unplug the mouse
Run the software as administrator
When prompted to plug in the mouse, plug it into a different USB port than the one it was previously plugged into
Install software

Give the above a try and let me know if it works.

Done exactly that and still the same message, I think its to do with it not picking it up as an nzxt mouse because it just comes up with compatible mouse in device manager. If I had an INF file to point it to as a nzxt mouse then i think the installer would work, I need the computer to know it IS a nzxt mouse
Thats what I think anyway :confused1:
but i have no idea what i should do, if only i had the disc
click the image link and see exactly what I'm gettin

The only thing I could think of was trying a completely different USB port and running the install software as administrator. I'll see if I can come up with anything else.

Isn't it possible to get an inf driver file for this mouse cause that wud solve it, then It wud show it as an Nzxt mouse and not a compatible mouse driver?
I love the mouse but I'm plugging in my sidewinder to play games atm.
I really need this sorting soon, my kids took the weights out of my sidewinder mouse so I bought this to replace it, since I can't find the weights anywhere.
