Tried 2 New Batteries, Nothing!

I never could get my Sentry LX to keep settings. I just lived with it. But now I decided to get off my lazy *** and see if I could get it to work.

Tried 2 batteries, and it will not keep my settings. I shut off my computer, the settings go back to defaults.

My clock, date and all settings have to be re-established, every time I boot my PC.

Anybody have the same problem, with a solution?

man you have the worst luck. my solution would be to set up a 12v power supply (like for an RC car) and split the cables and hook it up through that. by doing that, itll never turn off though... otherwise im not thinkin you can fix it. (unless of course you looked at the leads from the watch battery to the PCB)

That seems to be extreme, I'de rather just purchase a new Sentry LX, than go through all that.

I was affraid this couldn't be fixed. Oh well, I'll just live with it. I have for 3 months now, NBD.
