Constant Temperature Monitoring: A LOAD of Crap??

So what's the deal? Is the Constant Temperature Monitoring feature on the Guardain 921, and maybe any of the other cases that offer it, a load of crap? I've read several threads that claim it just ain't working or has stopped working. Mine worked fine for a couple of weeks then just stopped. No display at all. Surely, with all the advance we've made out there there has to be something I can check to see what's what? Any ideas? Surely this is repairable without having to send the darn case back to the mothership for repairs.

most people i know from Lan parties and the like use bay temp. monitors and even those go out every couple months. it's just the build is done for a price to sell the case and if that means skimping on the materials and a little bit of quality then they do so.

i wouldn't find myself using any in case temp monitor, gotta go with the bay or mod mounted ones because they are just more trust-worthy. worst case yeah you could send NZXT an e-mail asking for just the temperature screen and smack it out yourself (which they would probably go for better than paying shipping to and from for a whole case
