Hello all :) I have a quick question. I plan on upgrading to a Radeon 4850 later this year, and I want to replace the side fan on my NZXT Alpha Black case with a Silverstone FN121-BL LED fan, which has a higher airflow than the stock NZXT Fan does. My question is, I have looked at it, and in the manual, and I cannot figure out how to remove the fan without breaking the little clip/pins that hold it on.... Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

If I'm not mistaken, the corners on that fan should be open. You should be able to reach your fingers in, squeeze each of the clips, and push them out one by one.

Just had a look at one of my own NZXT fans and that seems logical.

Hey, it appears that the Alpha uses the same side fan attachment mechanism as the Apollo. If this is the case, see this thread:

The pictures have gone away because of various recent (and not so recent) forum changes, if you would like me to snap new ones, I would be happy to. Just let me know.

Good luck.

Just use a screwdriver or a knife from the outside of your case, move the tip of the tool underneath the rubber heads, then just pull them out. They will come off no problem. You dont need to squeeze them from the inside.

Sorry baseballboy, I'm living at college right now and the Apollo is home. If you still can't get it after another read through the verbal description, let me know what you're confused about and I'll see if I can describe it better.
