I don't wanna change sensitivity in-game. Ever.

Still I sometimes touch the thumb button while scrolling the mwheel. This ****s up my game. How do I get rid of the Adjustable Sensitivity feature?

I like the mouse so far, but the shape could have been even better. Only the end of the mouse touches my palm. Looking forward to see more NZXT Gear.

I'm just a consumer, but reading your post got me thinking, if you don't want to adjust your DPI why not just not install the software? Then it reverts to a generic mouse. You could also simply remapp your 2 keys below the mouse wheel to something other than adjustment of DPI (this would allow you to keep the program installed).

On a side note, you must have huge hangs or something cause this mouse conforms perfectly to my entire hand...the end of the mouse touches the end of my palm. You should try a extra large mouse or something! (I wear L gloves)

I have remapped the thumb-button to ALT. But the sensitivity feature remain attached to it nevertheless. The **** hits the fan when you, in the middle of a firefight, accidentally lowers or hightens your sensitivity and all of a sudden you cant aim for ****. Just because you gripped the mouse slightly wrong and touched the thumb button while selecting a different weapon.

Not installing drivers is not an option. It then becomes a 5-button mouse with a standard polling rate. Not exactly what I paid for.

I've been gaming pretty hardcore quake 1-3 since 1996. Some things are set in stone for me.

The on the fly DPI-changing is done through the hardware, so drivers are not required. I've never had a problem with the placement of the buttons, to be honest.

When did you purchase the mouse? About a month ago NZXT released a revised version with buttons that were more closely integrated into the design - so you'd hit them less often.

Well that explains the reason I'm at a loss for how he's doing this...I'm a die-hard COD4 fan and play it daily and I've never had a issue of switching my DPI settings accidentally.

Yeah, older model. The buttons are pretty "out there" if you know what I mean.

Guess I gotta open up the mouse and fix it manually then.

I ripped some of the gutz out of the mouse, but I still couldnt disable the sensitivity issue, so its in the garbage now and my quest for the perfect mouse continues.

So long...
