Xbox 360 red lights

Hi my daughters consol has 3 red lights has anybody any idea how to fix this problem,or is it for the bin.

Hi thanks for the quick reply the only thing is i think the might have opened it to clean the inside i am not sure but i will pass on the message, who do they contact will it be on the microsoft web site.

Good luck getting your Xbox back before Christmas, due to the checks Microsoft does to ensure products have not been tampered with the average time to receive a working Xbox is anywhere from 1-3 months.

Hi contacted Microsoft and they said they would arrange pickup which was Monday 27th they e-mailed me to say they had recieved it at Xbox repairs Germany on Thursday 30th and i had an e-mail today 31st to say that great news your Xbox has been shipped and is on its way back to me and i should recieve it within 7 days, hows that for speed as you said i thought i was in for a long wait my daughter is over the moon as it is her Xbox i just get to deal with any problems, i prefer my PC for games better graphics, but each to thier own, thanks for all the advice.

There are many people who have been very successful at correcting the Xbox 360 red lights error on your own. You may find that the easiest task is what works best. Sometimes all that needs to be done by dragging the machine, let it sit for a few minutes and reconnect This will reset the system and make it restart itself.
