Hello,
I'm considering buying a Tempest but need to know how much space I need to leave on each side of the case in order for it to cool properly.
Thanks.
Kindest regards,
Boris

Hi Boris, welcome to the forums!
While it depends on the components you use in your case and the cooling you use on those components, here are some general guidelines for the Tempest, and all cases in general:
The right side of the case can go against a wall. There's no air intake/output on that side panel, so you can put as much stuff next to it as you want.
The front panel should have at least a foot of space to properly intake fresh, cool room air into the case.
The left side of the case should preferably have about 6" of space, but you can get away with having a little bit less.
The back of the case should also have about a foot of space. If you leave any less space, it must be very well ventilated-you don't want a hot pocket of air piling up right by your exhaust.
Keep in mind, the closer a wall is to a fan, the more turbulence is created and the harder it is for the fan to suck air in, so the louder it will become.
If you have any more questions let us know :)
