Hi I bought this case and it arrived a few days ago.
However I haven't been able to start using it for two reasons.
Firstly, I am unable to fit the front fan as the HDD bay is in the way.
How on earth do i move this, or fit a fan there?
Secondly, how do you remove the black front to the case?
Am unable to do this as well.
Thirdly how do you remove the Drive covers to actually install your drives?
Since i cant remove the black cover I can't remove the drive covers.

You should be able to remove the front panel with a sharp tug from the bottom and the HDD cage by removing two screws on the bottom of the case.
With the front panel removed, you can take off bay covers. With both removed, you can install an intake fan into the front of the case.
Cheers :)

ocuk says that the alpha requires a thinner 120x20mm fan as front intake. Is this right ?

If i Yank the front cover from the bottom of the case, it will undoubtedly break, as it seems to attached by plastic rivets all over the place.
Secondly the HD bay only has rivets and not screws at the bottom.
Are you sure you are thinking of the right case?

hah! I misread the forum name when i went to type my response...
it's possible that you really DO need a non-existant 120x120x20mm fan to maneuver it into that little spot.. but i don't know how you'd screw it in if you can't get the front panel off o_O

You can get the front of the case off. Take off both side panels and look on the edges at the front. There are little black clip things that hold the front panel to the chassis. Just squeeze each clip thing with a pair of pliers and pop it out the front. Getting it back on is easy just push it back in and the clips lock it back into place. As far as how to get the fan in between the hard drive bay and the chassis I have no idea...got pretty irritated with that today myself. Not much point in having a mounting point for a third fan if you can't even fit one in there. Let me know if you figure that part out. Good luck.

120x20 yate loon, fits in there nicely. they dont come with screws, keep that in mind. ive been usin these for my alpha builds front fans. and on my first one i did manage to get a 120x25 in there, dont ask me how :sly:
cant get the HD cage out, i wish you could too
to get front panel off......take off side window. right on the inside near the bottom of the front panel you will see the lowest plastic rivit thing. squeeze it hard with your fingers and pull on that bottom corner of the front panel. the bottom one usually isnt hard to get out. next do the one above it, it shouldnt be too much harder. then for the top one i cant fit my fingers in there but if you just kinda pry it it pops right out if the bottom 2 are already out.

I replaced the original rear fan with a blue led one and took the rear fan and moved it up front. It fits in there fine, just took a few tries at a few different angles.

so i had the same problem with being unable to fit the fan into the space in front i read the post above that says the rear fan fits into the front and i felt that that cant be because their exactly the same size as the rosewell 120mm i bought so my advice to you is
just shove it in! what is really keepin it from goin in all the way is the mesh that catches the corners of ur fan just keep shocin it in ur fan is prettty bendable (buh not that bendable) n i didnt really care bc i only payed lyk 5 bux for it on newegg and when an edge got stuck in the mesh i used a screw driver to push the edge and shoved the fan in the rest of the way
yay? -.-

The other advice we give people is to seek out a Yate Loon (or equiv.) 20x120x120mm fan, which is 5mm skinnier than the usual 25x120x120mm fan
