9800gtx Will it fit?

I was planning to use the alpha for my next build.
Looking at the 9 inch vid card tucked into my Lexa I am having second thoughts.:confused:
Will a 10.5 inch vid card fit in the Alpha. Or will it hit the HDD rack.
The 9800 GTX has it's 6pin power connections on the top.
Unlike the 9600gt which has it's connections at the end.
So if I can wiggle the 9800 GTX into place, getting power to it shouldn't be a problem.:confused1:

I didn't have my head on strait.
GPU cooler on the 8800gtx is shorter than the one on the 9800gtx.
BUT THE BOARD REMAINS THE SAME.:)

I know you got it sorted but just checked my alpha and it seems to have about 11" clearance from the back to the hd rack.

Time to order all my stuff, including a couple 9800gtx probably from
the house of eVGA
At 10.5 inches "ital'B r' Reel Tite phit I reckon" in the Alpha I have on order

you would think the case manufactures would have that info
on their own W-sights.
But of course none of them do. (none of the several I've looked at)
***YO! NZXT DUDES! interior height width etc. etc. is as important***
as exterior case measurements.
Especially if PSU, VID card makers keep following the trend.

grats on your recent purchase! NZXT make amazing products though i dont agree with your shippin i hate using UPS, I've had maybe 10 products broken because of poor handling, though i've had a few come in quickly! FedEx may be more expensive but i think it is well worth the xtra $$ enjoy your system
