Hi, i bought a lexa blackline case, the red version. On the front panel there is that long light, with a dot led light below. the small dot light works fine, but the long vertical light about it does not light the way it is displayed in the pics on the product page. If you look closely at the light, there is pnly a faint glow at the top of the light, but i could see it coming from another set of lights....Are these 2 lights connected to the same power connector? When i built the system i checked that everything was plugged in...

I would prefer if there some some way to fix this without having to send the case back, as my system is running nicely, and i don't want to take it apart, and i don't have a spare case

Thanks

Cheeto81,

Unfortunately, the front power LED is quite difficult to replace. The whole front panel would have to be replaced to solve this little LED problem. I know it is a hassle but replacing the LED light would require to pull off the front swinging door, which cannot be put back together once it is dismantled. If you still decide that you cannot deal with a dim front LED light, please email rma@nzxt.com. Remember to include that you have discuss this on our forum.

is it possible to send me just the front panel (i'd be willing to supply a CC to put a hold on), and when it arrives i will replace it, and send back the defective front panel? seeing as how the power button is part of the front panel, i don't see how i'd be able to properly operate the computer without it.

Thanks

You would actually have to buy a new front panel because we do not accpect used replacement parts. Sorry but that is all that i can offer you.

I don't understand...isn't the case still under warranty? i bought it in late February 08...

If i send the entire case back...per your response...you'd have to replace the whole front panel...meaning you'd have a "used replacement part" front panel you'd have to scrap right? (since you said replacing the LED permanently damages the front panel)

So instead of my wasting my time to take all the components out of the case, waste shipping returning the case to you, then you spend time replacing the front panel, and waste money shipping the whole case back (and you still have a scrap front panel)....instead, I don't understand why you can't just send the front panel to replace my defective front panel...we both save on shipping, and we both save on time.
