Hello out there,

Im completely new to this forums and yesterday my new NZXT Black Nemesis Elite arrived together with new Harddrives. At first I just want to say that the Nemesis has an excellent design, especially the front part! (Love Animes especially NGE ;) it matches nicely )

Well anyways there are 2 problems I encountered. At first after putting my motherboard. I put in my soundcard, the creative audigy 4 thing and my MSI NX 7800GTX graphics card. So I dont know how I should describe it exactly but there is the metal bar thing on top of all the possible PCI slots which should hold em so the cant fall out ... well this metal bar has those lil ... uhht lil ... things ... and my Graphics card has 3 possible plugs (or however you call em) 2 for monitors and one for something else I dont know. Anyways I cant put this metal bar correctly on top of the PCI slots anymore because one of those lile spike things would crush the plug of my graphics card. oh dear. Too bad Im not a native speaker =/ ... Im sorry. I guess the problem would be soluted if I would buy a new graphics card but thats kinda expensive x_X ...

Anyway ... the second problem is alot worse. My fan controller died a horrible death. I attached everything properly as far as I could. well I only attached 2 fans on the fan controller. The Sys fan and the HDD fan. Anyways. The Sys Fan didnt work correctly. The LED light was on but it didnt spin. Something blocked it. And then my father which was there too told me to right away unplug the Fan which didnt spin. So I dont know if I caused it but after I unplugged the Fan from the Fan controller thing, I smelled something burned and the HDD Fan didnt work anymore either.

Well I found out that the screws on the Sys Fan was just put it too deep so the case blocked the Fan. But now, I cant attached the fans anymore to the Controller, well I can attach em but the fans just dont work. If I attach em directly to my Power Supply Unit the fans work perfectly. But As you could guess the whole temperature things doesnt make any seens when the fan controller cant controll the fans anymore ...

So here my question: Is there any way to fix this? I dont feel like completely put my computer apart and send the case away again, its just so much work v_v ... Can I buy somewhere a new fan controller? Well do I have to replace the whole thing with the LCD and all?

Oh and I think there should be a dust filter infront of the first fan or? Because I dont have one o_O

*siiiighhs* Im just bothered by this all, new super case and now that ... =(

That other connector to the left (looking at back of card) is s-video.

As to the problem of it not fitting, umm, I'm a little confused. This metal bar you describe is the one that holds the PCI covers in place for the slots not being used?

The bar shown on the left side of the slots in pic: http://www.nzxt.com/image/2/82/
is this the one you meant? You say on top of the PCI slot, which doesn't make any sence. Maybe you could supply some pictures?

If it is make sure your VC is all the way into the PCI-E slot on your mobo, if it isnt the card may be sticking out to far and wont fit in the PCI slot properly. If it is already connected properly then I don't know what to tell you as your card should fit into the slot no problem.

Okay I marked the spots in the pictures for better understanding.

At first on my Graphics card its that plug which bothers:

Then the Metal Bar on my case is this one:

My Card is prefectly in the slot. It seems like the metal somehow is too thick and plus that metal bar has some kind of spikes or .. lil metal plates which are bend down towards the PCI slots (or the graphics card). And those things are exactly where the s-video plug of the Card is and so cant go further down anymore. So the red marked metal bar doesnt fit on it.

And Just a question, can the fan control die if you unplug a fan while the system is turned on? ... Im not sure if I caused it to die, since this all happened so fast and Its the first time I turned it on.

Connector on VC is for s-video cable.

As to why your VC wont fit into the PCI slot, sorry man I got nothing.

Maybe include a picture of your card in your case (close up) showing the spikes/plates that are in the way. This way others with this case, or NZXT_dood will know exactly what the problem is and will be able to help you.

lil update: ehhh ... for whatever reason, now my LCD screen is completely empty. It just happen suddenly! ... *sigh*

I really dont have any luck ... anyone suggestions what I can do? Should write an email to the support people from NZXT or just exchange the whole case at the shop where I bought it? Well I ordered it online and that will be ... retarded to ... uch Im highly demotivated. What should I do?

***UPDATE***

Okay I fixed the PCI Issue! ... The slot thingy of my graphics card was bended from my other case! I bended it flat again, so now my card is correct inserted and fits good. The iron spike thing is still jamming in the S-plug slightly but That finally works!

So now the LCD thing is still left ... I guess Im not able to repair that thing myself.
Another thing is that Im living in germany and I guess it would take along time until spare parts would arrive hm? I wrote an email at designer@nzxt.com before, but I guess that was the wrong address somehow x_X ... I wrote it there cause I randomly found it first. Oh well, I will wait until NZXT_dood replies xD.

As far as I read it seems possible to get a new meter thing? Well hopefully it works for germans too =(

I did try it already, I was just in a electronics shop and quickly bought one of those things, but replacing didnt help. The LCD screen is still just blue =/.

Okay today is the 18th and last weekend was eastern, so I understand if evryone was busy, but as I see NZXT_dood already answered in quite afew posts except this here and since I still didnt get ANY reply per email Im quite frustrated.

So I only want to mention that as far as I read NZXT has a great support, but slowly Im doubting that its "great" ...

So please any official guy out there, please reply to one of my emails or here in the forum, so I at least know Im not completely ignored! :(

Even if you say we dont replace anything and if I can't Buy any fan controller thing from you, a reply would be kind.
