I recently did away with the LCD display and now my front and rear fans are connected directly to the PSU but they seem to be running at a lower speed then when the LCD was in. Would it be possible to increase the fans RPM with a fan controller or since it's connected to the PSU is that the max rpm that I can get out of it? All I want is for the fans to be running all the time a max speeds. I dont know if it might be because the plugs are 3 pins and not 4 pins could this be why I cannot get max RPMs?

hello, if you connect the fans directly to the PSU they should run at 1200rpm. If you use the fan controller, it may vary from 800-1200rpm

Ok I need more rpms for some reason it's not keeping my temps down much. Maybe others are having high temps or its just my set up and conditions in the ambient temp of house. I ordered 3 fans the same as the ones that come with the case except 2000rmp.
I shopped around some and these are the cheapest themaltake A1926 on the site below that I could find

Does the price say for 5 of them or 1? I think it is for just one. I can take the noise level over the 80 bucks for 3 of them. It would be nice though but I can't spend that much on fans. I want this http://www.eastluna.com/hardware/details.php?id=1415

I have a 7800OS but the video for the 7900 looks real nice

I did some checking and i thinks its for just 1
what you could do is just get 2 for the moment for the front and back and then get the side later

I need to get that and before I started building my own computers I got kinda screwed on my processor. I didn't know then that AMD was better then intel so I bought a 3.0 P4 and it cost me nearly $400 I later found it almost $200 cheaper on the web. Did I get bent over on that. Anyways I would like to get an AMD but I'm not sure of the type because they run at lower ghz then intel. I see you have a 3700+ with a 7900GT I'm sure you see a heck of a lot better performance then what I see and that junk processor I have is slowing my video card.

I now know why that computer guy was smiling as I went out the door. I tried to go back a few days later to look at a video card. They had closed down and there was already another store there. Guess I paid for his vacation and a few other things. Looks like he was trying to get a few extra bucks since he was closing. Well there is nothing I can do about it now though except learn not to buy from any local stores and I will do all of my buying online so I can get a wider range of prices.
