What I did is (excuse the brief instructions im just assuming you have some level of knowledge)
1. Remove any optimal drives you have installed
2 Remove the front off the machine
3 unsqurew the 2 at the top of the front panel- this will expose the temp display and sensor leads.
4. Take out the 2 screws to remove the temp sensor.
5. Remove cables act from down the side of the front panel and remove from the case. (you may have to unbundled that little black plastic spiral)
6. Install the new temp sensor line it up with the front of the case (I installed it turned on the PSU and fiddled with it then secured it)
7. Trace the cables back thru into the case.
8. Close the case up.
9 Put the back panel back on the front panel.
10 plug her in with power.
Fire her up.
11 if you need to adjust the screen just take the back panel off the front panel (its the top bit that sticks out the top.) and adjust it there, then close it up.
EDIT: If this still doesnt work check that you haven't over tightend your LCD display as that can stop it from powering on.

Hey Timmay,
Got a quick one for you, since you obviously replaced your LCD readout already...
Did your original display ever work at all was the display blank from the moment you powered up?
Thanks

One of the Temp sensor leads was faulty, so when you applyed power to the LCD display it would show all temps and light up correctly except the CPU reading would just sit on "Er"
RMA'ed for a temp lead, they send out a whole new unit:eek: and everything is working perrrrrrfect.

Just out of curiousity, were you able to request a display that was in F rather than C? I think I wouldn't mind paying for one if they charged.

Hello, if you ordered the Lexa in the past 1 or 2 months the meter has been updated with a changeable jumper setting that will allow C changed to F. I will post instructions later however if you look want you can check the back of the board for the area where you can change jumper settings. thank you.

Well.. I ordered it less than 2 months ago. I took the back of the LCD display off and I see 2 prongs to the right of the lcd board sticking out horizontally. *Looks* like something that could be jumped.. but the prongs look a tad thicker and flatter than regular jumpers. Now where am I gonna find a jumper doo-hicky for that? ;)

Samson,
I've been setting my rig up and ran into similar problem. In my case, the jumper was barely hanging on one of the two pins. You might want to look around and see if it feel inside the case?

So that *is* the jumper?

After a really long time of being lazy I finally got the motivation to pull off the front and put in the new Display only to find the new one didnt work either. Tried losening the screws still not working.

did you try testing it before you installed it into the front panel? ( Leaving the component outside and just feeding it power from your power supply ). Also, make sure you got all the connections correct. Thanks!

No I didnt try feeding it direct power how would i set that up?
Im about 99% sure i have it hooked up right. Its basically just one connection and a jumper right?

The meter should have 3 connections for temperature probs, 1 for power, and the jumper. The most important one to test the function of the meter is to try the power to the meter to see if it even powers up.
