Hiper 580W PSU [Archive]

I did actually e-mail NZXT support and they told me regarding the Hiper 580W Type-R Modular PSU - Black with UV reacted cables and whether it would be able to fit.

"It will require you to move the 80mm fan from the top to the bottom."

Would this be a trivial task? If it is required.

Should be pretty easy. Just 4 small screws. Just decide if you want it blowing in or sucking out.

Yeah as it happens I have and I didn't have any problems with the Aero plugs fouling the Fan, though it is quite tight and you need to be a bit carefull with the wiring, IE make sure it doesn't get chewed by the fan blades!

Also don't replace the fan for a high flow unless it's standard depth or it will foul the fan...

Also worth noting that some drive coolers (coolermaster cooldrive 5 and 6 for example) will not fit in the top bay if you have the fan installed.
