just a question about the guardian case.
why do the harddisks have to be mounted upside down.
i had 3 harddisks in this case and 2 have now started to click (on there way out), they are only 6 months old. i have rma'ed them but i belive the fact they are upside down is the cause of the head crashes. i have to mount the circuit board up as they slides on the case dont allow it to be mounted any other way. is this mean to be like that or not cause its not a very good design feature. also the pieces of the slide that stop the hard disk being mounted any other way have cut into the side of my wd and seagate and have piereced the foil covering the holes on the sides.

if the diskdrives are not meant to be upside down that would be the second defective one out of 2. the first was taken back to shop as the mounting holes for the mobo were not done.

doesnt matter now i watched a video review on 3d gamer man and it clearly show the guardian accepting h/disks the correct way up and 3d gamerman's guardian doesnt have that extra bit of metal between the mounts. ive just bought a gigabite case now and i have now destroyed the guardian with a lump hammer, lol and threw it in the bin<< sry nzxt but it would be a good case if you sorted out the manufacturing faults . <<<bought the case 6months ago and the shop refused to refund and wouldnt exchange cause they no longer stock it, so never shop at light computer systems in leeds,uk:( just hope the new nzxt products are not as likley to be defective as the first ones. thats 2 of 2 defective guardians ive had! 1st one had no holes to mount mobo but they exchanged it for another one, the 2nd guardian's h/disk drive mounts had an metal strip between the 2 that should be there making it impossible to mount it any other way than upside down unless you cut off the excess metal....which i cant be bothered to do and dont have the tools! and no amount of bending to the metal mounts free up enough space to use it correctly
thanks for the support ;)
