Hey guys, I've seen free web hosting before and believe it, however, I would still need a domain, :D

But here;s to the topic. I hve found a couple good sites for free hosting;

Bravenet (bravenet.com)
5gigs (5gigs.com)

and this other one seems to good to be true, i was wondering if anyone could tell me if it is or isn't;

With bravenet I belive they have ads, that or some small graphic at the footer not sure, but with 5Gigs you have to buy a domain to get the free hosting since they stoped giving out just plain free hosting. As for AFMU you need to get a domain aswell...

The one that I use (since I stopped paying for hosting till I get some money) is http://www.xr4free.com/ it's only 40 megs of space but enough for me. You do have to have a domain that allows you to change the DNS host (something like that forgot that its called =P) which is usually only available with bought domains but you can go to http://uni.cc and register one which is free and can be used with the hosting site I linked.

in new zealand you can free hosting 10 megs with no adds no nothing. ut no php or cgi or any sort of scripting what so ever. so you get like piesunlimited.orcon.net.nz

might have to be a nzer though

but when it comes to reliablity i think there is no way out of acutally payign for one. i remember namezero used to give away .coms for free.
