OK, so i figured out my problems with the eyes, i was missing the 4 pin molex connecter.
- now i have a NEW problem (yay). I am fairly positive i installed my HDD LED's correctly. i stuck the "y" HDD wire into my HDD spot and took off the black plastic on its other end, making it 2 pin male connecter, then i plugged the remaining HDD wire into that.
- what did i do wrong?

check the connection on your motherboard, your polarity may be off. I would test it first by plugging the HDDLED from the front panel onto the board first before using it with the Meter.

you will have to remember this is my first build
- how do i check if my polatity if off and how can i test it with just one? please explain to me the directions didnt make sense

Sorry about the confusion, when i mean to switch polarity i mean flip the HDDLED cable and connect onto your motherboard that way. The Nemesis Elite has a HDDLED cable coming from the meter ( it will display your harddrive activity ), but i don't want you to worry about that yet. Try to get the Nemesis Light flashing at the first. Let me know if you need more clarification.

OK. thank you i flipped the HDD conencter over to fix the polatiry
- now the light flashes on every once and a while and kinda flickers at points. is this what it is supposed to do?
- sometime it like half lights up

Yes, HDD LEDs light up as the Hard Drive is accessed. Depending on the current Hard Drive activity the light will either flicker on/off or stay lit for a short time as the system does its work. Try copying a large file to your hard drive or read from a CD-Rom and youll see how the light reacts.

The 'NEMESIS' on the front of my case always glows red now (it didn't for about the first few weeks I had it). I have tried everything I can think of:
1. I made sure the HD LED connector was to the right spot on my mobo and I even flipped the polarity (only turned the light off) to make sure.
2. I know the HD is not being accessed (have a program running that flashes a light on my taskbar when HD is accessed) and have felt/listened to it.
2a. Could it be that my NVRAID is somehow goofed? (I have 2 SATA2 drives striped)
3. I have the latest NForce and Graphics drivers from EVGA's site (my mobo and graphics card are both EVGA).
It is a solid red, no flickering or variation in the glow at all from the moment I boot up my computer. Even booting in safe mode (WinXP Pro SP 2) it is lit up all the time.
eVGA 133-K8-NF41 Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI ATX AMD
eVGA Geforce 7800GT CO 256MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card
Anybody have any idea why it is doing this?

hello, when you refered to the first 2 weeks, did you mean it was working perfectly? thanks

Yes, it was working as expected ('NEMESIS' would light up when the hard drive was accessed and then go dark when there was no activity). I have had this case since Feb 23, so about 2 months now. It started staying solid last week, so it was working perfectly (IMO) for about 4 weeks.

Sorry for the bump of the thread, but I also got this problem. The hdd activitylight was flashing as is should be for a couple of weeks, but now its fully lit all the time (I havenīt changed anything in the chassie. The lcd display also shows that the hdd is working hard even in idle)
Edit. I have searched the forums but I have not found a solution to this problem :(

I haven't heard about this issue but could you send me an email at designer@nzxt.com so i can make it priority to find out why. Thanks.

It's possible that the HDD Led is broken. Since you did not change any of your computer pins, the LED should be the same. The only time the HDD LED should be solid is when you connector it to the power pin or connect the reset pin incorrectly.
