I want to buy a new monitor for my new pc build because im tired of this crappy crt. I see monitors with the VGA connector(blue) and the DVI(white), but is there any difference between the two, will the graphics be better or what?

DVI gives me sharper text and a clearer looking desktop, but I can say it's almost not noticable if you're not looking for it, I haven't tried D-sub for gaming though, but basically what that was saying is that DVI stays digital while for a D-Sub it goes from digital to analog and depending if you have an lcd or not, back to digital, but thats only one source, i'm sure there's thousands of threads like this on the net somewhere that will have some info

d-sub = blue = analogue

dvi = white = digital

dvi is good but its not perfect, for games eithers good because ive seen half life 2 run on a d-sub tft designed for gaming that looked bloody good

DVI also still has the odd bug as well so isnt perfect, also good because it can connect to HD TVs
