BURNOUT Revenge

Im a huge fan of racing games. Anyone playing the new Burnout Revenge game? Graphics are quite stunning and crash physics are pretty good except for the occasional car that careens out of control and turns into a torpedo and flies 300 yards...heh heh, but its still alot of fun. Like the last game, Burnout3: takedown, Internet play was great, if you can ever find a connection that works. I find myself spending 30mins trying to connect to a game.

Whats your take on this game?

On Topic:
Demo is pretty good, got it on one of my OXM discs, although just one race.
The latest disc has both NFS:Most Wanted and L.A. Rush. I wasn't impressed by either of those. NFS:MW is well NFS.... and this version must be a way early build lots of slow down, clipping and other garbage right along with sub par graphics. Nice engine and sound effects though, at least they are working on something right? The cop chase scenario's are fun though, a good step back for the NFS games, harkens back to the insanity of the earlier games.

LA Rush just felt cookie cutter bland, trying to take all the recent good racing ideas and toss them into one bowl /bleh. Hoepfully a little more dev time will shine these 2 diamonds in the rough up some.
