View Full Version : Wiring my Nemesis Elite
Hey all!
I picked up my Nemesis Elite Edition and so far it's a sweet case, cool design and features, but im having some trouble wiring it up to my DFI LanParty UT nF4 Ultra-D. The cord that  me the most is the one with R-Ret, L-Ret, R-Out, L-Out... Would I even need this if im going to be installing a sound blaster 2zs?
Thanks for any help!

the cord your referring to is for front panel audio. If you connect headphones and a mic to the front ports.
I believe in order to connect those attachments (at least on the mobos ive seen) you have to move a jumper which disables your onboard sound on the rear panel.
Since u mentioned u have an audigy 2zs, you can still use front panel in conjuntion with your sound card.
There should be a bunch of pins sticking off the mobo (check in the vicinity of your rear audio jack on the mobo) they might be labeled to help you attach those front ports.

I have my front panel attached, and my onboard sound isn't disabled.... What kind of mobos have you looked at?

WEll, my nofrce 3 board, and my friends nforce 4. Both epox, but yeh, you have to move 2 jumpers out of the way for the front sound to connect, and my mobo's manual says doing so will disable rear sound port.
Cant get the nemesis usb's to work either
oh yeah, one more ?...what do i do with 3 hdd led plugs...im used to only having one

The 3 led plugs:
plug the one coming from the top of the case into the mobo. THen use the other end attached to that wire to attach the hdd led wire coming from the front of the case.
If the nemesis logo doesnt light up when the hard drive is in use, try reversing the orientation of the one connected to the mobo, thats what i had to do.
