Any Hope?

Well, I'm brand-new to the forums, but I've had my Nemesis Elite case since a little before XMas. Anyway, I have a BAD habit of tweaking things inside the case while the computer is still running... and well.... Something happened, something came lose during my tinkering, and then shorted out the board for the Eyes of the case. I mean, the board was blackened, and would not work, despite what I did. I was just wondering if there was a way to get a new board, lights, and wires for it (because I really rather enjoyed being able to change the colour of the eyes), or if I would just have to buy some wiring and some LEDs, and fix it that way. Anyway, thanks in advance guys!

RMA the door and in the future dont tweak it while its running. not to sound mean but its really really really really really stupid. i learned that the first time i got my finger cought it one of my fans and made a nice cut. and im like never ever again.

you cant RMA something if you broke it, you might be able to buy spares but you cant ask for a whole new one if it was your fault.

ok heres why i said rma it. remember my window on my guardian that i replaced with lexon? i asked to rma it but in my email i mentioned 4-5 times that it was my fault. they still set me up to rma it. i also mentioned that i would pay for the door. you may be able to purchase the front for your case.

ey when i rmaed my ati 9800pro cause i damaged it (badly). they sent me a new one free with fedex over night. they also sent me the better 9800, the xt version which i still dont quiet know what makes it xt. but i was like kwell! and didnt ask any questions. there was evidence of my fanagling, the heat sink pins were hot glued down cause i used the wrong tool to get the pins off and i broke them. so included if your still watching this thread there is still hope. also exitialis a company like NZXT wouldnt ask many questions about fixing damaged items, cause you would like to have a happy customer. cause a happy customer will buy more of your product and dispite the minute losses of a replacment part they will make double that in like new case sales or other items they sell.

Well guys, thanks for the advice. Only one problem though.... I don't know wtf RMA means...

Also, I'm aware that messing with stuff while the computer is on is VERY stupid, and since my Eyes blew up, I haven't done it.

[edit] I gather that it is requesting for a new part to replace one that broke, and it sometimes works even if its your fault, but how do I go about it?

you can this two ways one being:" I bought this case from {Store name} about {fake or real time period} and every think went fine up until {date}. the scanning eye on my nemisis just stopped working. So i shut down the computer and checked it some of the print board was burnned. I would like a replacment door for my NZXT Nemisis.
or:
" I bought this case from {store name} about {time period} and one day while i was playing around with the case either something or I damaged the print board controling the scanning eye. I would like if possible to purchase a new door to replace the damaged one on my Nemisis."
try one of those if you would like they will most likely work (they always have for me).

I shut down my computer, and disassmbled the door, to find that the board for the eye had been fried.. I was wondering if there was a way I could purchase a new board and scanner eye system, or even a whole new door, for my case."

Ya, I wasn't going to delet it anyway...

I've already sent the email, AND gotten a reply, and I'm going to have to buy either a new eye system, or a whole new door it looks like.... And I just started working, so it looks like I know where my first paycheck is going, eh? I'll prolly just get a whole new door, that way, I can mod my old one, and try some ---- out that I'm scared to do without having a backup!
