I'm not sure about some cables. There's 2 thin beige cables that come together into the same connector. Then, there's a single beige cable, thicker than the other 2. These 3 cables are for audio and usb, right? Which is which? I'm betting the thick cable is both usb ports and the 2 thin cables are audio (headphones and mic). Is that correct?
Is there a standard name for the ports that I plug these cables into? My mobo (Asus A8N-SLI) has 4 usb ports at the back of the mobo. Are these called external usb ports? There are pins on the mobo to support 6 more ports. Are these called internal usb ports? Can I plug the case's usb cable into any of the mobo's internal ports?
Thanks.
