Hey DOOD,
Have you guys considered doing a drop test on your packaging?
See how much beating the box can take without damaging the case?
It seems like a lot of the broken complaints come from those who just opened the box only to find the case side is shattered, scratched or the door broken.
Maybe a redesign in packaging will help the case arrive to its new home undamaged in case te UPS or Fedex guys decide to play shuffleboard with the packages. Where I used to work, we made Cereamic Coasters. For a while we had a big problem of coasters arriving broken or with chipped corners. We did some handling tests and determined what it took to damage the package contents, then took corrective measures in packaging. The results were more happy customers and alot less hassle on returns and shipping costs.
Anyway, just a thought.:)
