I just recieved a guardian case and in the process of installung all of my components i cannot find where to plug the Reset SW Power SW and H.D.D. LED. I have an intel Mother Board but i dont know the the exact version, it came from an HP a282n system. I am new to mods so some help would be nice.

look around for pins on the mother board that something like
Power Switch or Pw Sw or some combination of that, it everything else should be around there. usually its on the far side from the pci slots.
To find out what kinda Mobo you have get hte belarc advisor or something. it'll tell you your system config. =)

depends which way u look at it. theres probably a collection of pins on the bottom right of the motherboard (close to where the wires r coming from) but i would strongly advise u get a manual for ur mobo it is the one thing in ur com u really need a manual for.

Most HPs are notorious for having proprietary motherboards, so the manual option is not a guarantee (that you'll be able to find one).
Easiest way to find the power switch is to "hot-wire" the board. That is, plug all the power in, then take a flat-head screwdriver and slowly place it between each of the lead connectors until the computer boots. When it boots, the two that you were touching will be the power SW leads.

lol i like it although dont go anywhere near the ones with jumpers on. they could be something to do with CPU FSB (dont touch if you dont know what your doing) or csmos clear (also dont touch if you dont know what your doing)

No kidding! Get a new MOBO and screw the HP crap and the gamble that comes with it. You will feel much more free to cut the bonds!
