My SOYO K7VMP2 motherboard does not line up with any of the screw holes in the guardian....how do i fix this...if possible???

You will need to mount the standoffs in the corresponding holes in the motherboard mounting plate of the guardian. If there are standoffs already mounted in the guardian, remove them and position them accordingly to match the mounting holes in the motherboard. Your motherboard is a standard size ATX motherboard, so it should fit in the Guardian without a problem.

Are the standoffs the little brass screws????
ALso, i have tried every single combination....some will have the PCI slots lined up but then VGA port and parallel port will not eb coming throught the back of the case.

yeah the standoffs are the brass screwes that can have another screw, screw onto the top... and jw did you take of the original metal at the back of the case were all the things show? cuz it took me about 20mins to figure out i had to take it of and put in the one that came with the mobo...

R U KIDDIND ME i have to take off the metal face cover that came with the guardian and replace it with the 1 that came with the motherboard...y didnt i think of that...i was just saying to myself....y doesnt this part of the motherboard fit through this hole...wait a minute...how do i get the face plate that came with my mobo to stay on once i take off the 1 that came with the guardian

lol the backplate should pop into place once you take the original one out.

it doesn't...but ithink i figured it out...i think i have to put it one the mobo and then put the mobo in

ok yeah i just saw a pic at the soyo site of the plate and its just like mine... you slide the bottom on first so the metal from the case goes into the groove then snap in the rest of the sides

Some plates snap in and stay in place themselves....others stay in place when the motherboard is secured to the case.

i popped out the wrong lan hole in mine T_T oh well
