Hosted tournaments include CS 1.6, CS Source, Battlefield 2, Call of Duty 2, Quake 4, Starcraft and Warcraft . We are also again a official qualifying event for the World Cyber Games Canadian nationals.
Though there is a strong competitive aspect to the event with major tournaments and some high end prizes, there is also plenty of room for gamers who want to just come out and have fun. There will always be non-tournament games taking place as well as other fun events such as the "Geek Triathalon" where attendees participate in various tech related competitions to determine who is the " Uber Geek " . Other fun events include a latenight Dance Dance Revolution Dance off as well as a Guitar Hero 2 challenge competition. We will also be having a spectator area where friend/family/curious passerbys can come and watch some of the gaming action on big projection screens. Additionally we will again be donating $5 from every event registration to the regional IWK children's hospital.
